Terms of Service

Last updated 5 July 2026

The short version. Use QReel for lawful purposes, the codes you make are yours, subscriptions are billed through Apple, and the app is provided "as is."

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QReel app and website. QReel ("we", "us", "our") provides the service. By downloading or using QReel, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

License to use QReel

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use QReel on devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell or sublicense the app except as permitted by law.

Purchases & pricing

QReel is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store — $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage your subscription or turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings. All payments, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms, and prices may change for future billing periods with notice where required. We do not store your payment card details.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you put into your QR codes and the codes you generate. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any links, logos, text or other material you include. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, sync and process your content so we can provide the service to you.

Acceptable use

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these rules.

Scan tracking

If you enable scan tracking, you are responsible for complying with applicable privacy and consent laws where your codes are scanned, and for disclosing tracking to your audience where required. Analytics are provided for your convenience and are not guaranteed to be exhaustive or error-free.

Intellectual property

The QReel app, name, logo, mascot and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimers

QReel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every generated code will scan on every device or reader, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QReel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.

Termination

You may stop using QReel at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, USA, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date above, and continued use of QReel after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
